You may want to save a record of the IP addresses on all of your interfaces to a txt file, or your IT team may ask you for your IP address. Follow these instructions to save all this information to a txt file that you can then save somewhere or email to someone.

These instructions are for Windows10.

  1. Rightclick your Start button    , and select Windows PowerShell (Admin)

  2. You'll be prompted for "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?", select Yes

  3. Type the following command: ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt
Note: You can also copy the command, then right click inside PowerShell to paste.

  4. This will save a file in your C drive called ipconfig.txt

  5. You can now save this file whereever you like, or email it as an attachment to your IT team.
